inDrive Officially Launches Operations in Nepal

Ride-hailing service inDrive has now announced its official operations in Nepal after two years of informal activity. The US-based inDrive, which commenced its Nepal operations in April 2022, has also implemented a 10% commission fee for drivers, to ensure fair and affordable rides for drivers and passengers.

Unlike other ride-hailing apps, where algorithms determine the price, inDriver offers a unique service by allowing passengers and drivers to independently negotiate the ride fare. If the passenger receives multiple offers, they can take their pick based on the driver's ETA, rating, price and vehicle model. The driver can also choose a particular order based on the price and distance, the passenger's rating, the pick-up location and the number of inDrive trips the customer has already taken.

Pavit Nanda Anand, APAC Communications Lead, inDrive said, “We are excited to announce that inDrive is now officially in Nepal. Nepal's market is extremely important for us, and we believe that our services will bring innovation and employment to the Nepali market.”
